Traveling doesn’t always have to mean going to exotic, international locations. There are many places to visit locally that are just as beautiful and unique. So, get out there and see the world – or at the very least, your local park.

Studies show that being active has many positive benefits including improved fitness, positive self-esteem and reduced stress. Grab a friend and explore the great outdoors, play some sports or simply take a short leisurely walk.

An oldie but goodie! Making healthy choices should be on everyone’s list of resolutions this year. Developing healthier habits isn’t limited to just diet and exercise. Getting adequate sleep and meditating are a couple of other options.

5. Learn Something New
